AUDITION to be a part of the 2022-2023 PDC Team

Auditions will for 2022-2023 will be a multi day, multi style, and multi faceted event!


Auditions will consist of an interview for both dancer and parent, ballet audition, jazz/contemporary audition, and when applicable a tap and/or hip hop audition.


We are currently revamping and revitalizing our Parker Dance Company informational packet to reflect a new structure.

Summer Requirements for PDC Dancers

All dancers must fulfill a certain number of summer hours and/or attend specific

summer intensives. These specific requirements are determined by age and provided in the next section of the packet. Required summer hours may be obtained by attending summer intensives outside of those offered by CAD. However, these events must receive approval by the director to be counted. A full break down of these events must be provided to director prior to attending in order to be counted toward summer hours.


Breakdown must include:

Event location, studio, or company hosting event.

Instructors of the event.

Dates of event.

Class(es) and/or detailed schedule of event.

This breakdown of event should accompany the dancers audition form and PDC contract if at all possible. If this detailed information is not available by that time please provide what you have and follow up at a later date.


Dancers attending Columbia City Jazz with PDC staff do not need to provide a breakdown. It is estimated that CCJC will be a total of 20-24 hours.

  • 14 hours outside of The WERKshop 

Ages 8-11

  • Raise the Barre Ballet Intensive (two options to choose from)
  • 18 hours outside of Raise the Barre and The WERKshop

Special Note: Dancers that attend both Raise The Barre Intensives will receive two bonus hours toward their 18.

Pre Pro Educational Track for PDC Dancers

This PDC track is based on additional educational opportunities. These dancers will be given the option to compete at conventions (not mandatory) in addition to the four mandatory competitions required for all PDC dancers. The Pre Pro level of training is not specifically structured around competitions. This track is for serious students that wish to dance after high school whether at a commercial or academic level, or wish to dance at a more advanced level throughout their dance career at CAD. 

Available to dancers ages 8 -19.
