We will have a designated area/person available for pick up when you arrive.

STAGE REHEARSALS: Stage rehearsals are provided to allow your dancer a chance to be their most confident and best performer by rehearsing with their classmates on the stage. These should be considered mandatory. Stage rehearsals are CLOSED to all spectators. Parents will wait in the lobby while dancers rehearse.

ON SALE at Stage Rehearsals: During stage rehearsals we will have a few items available for purchase in the lobby. CASH or CHECK ONLY. These items are limited and will not be available for purchase on show days. Available for purchase during stage rehearsals will be...

1. Hollywood Star - $10 - We will be using these to decorate our "Walk of Fame". Hollywood Stars purchased during stage rehearsals will have your dancers name on them and will be displayed in the lobby for show patrons as they walk in on show days.

2. Hollywood Headshot - $10 - We will be using framed headshots to decorate and celebrate your shining star! Please bring an 8x10 photo of your dancer with you on stage rehearsal day to provide at the time of purchase.

3. Recital Flowers - prices vary - Skip the hassle trying to hide the surprise of buying flowers for your dancer before the show and have them ready for pick up at the show. Bundles of 3 roses, 6 roses, and 12 roses, traditionally arranged and wrapped in tissue paper will be ready for you on show day.

SHOW TEES: Every dancer will receive a show tee shirt commemorating our 2022 recital "Red Carpet Review" as a part of the performance fee. Due to manufacturing delays still being experienced, we were unable to do a pre-order for extra shirts. However, we did order extra shirts in all sizes ranging from YXS - A3XL. These will be available for purchase on picture day Friday, June 3 and on show days June 4 & 5.

PICTURE DAY: Please arrive in your first costume with hair and makeup complete. As you will see on our picture day schedule, times are stacked throughout the day. Please understand we CANNOT wait for any dancer if they are late to pictures. If you cannot make your group picture time, but would still like to have an individual photo taken, please email Heather at [email protected] to discuss options. All dancers are encouraged to attend the picture time for their group photo on Friday, June 3 at no charge. If you wish to have your dancers individual photo taken a sitting fee will apply. All group and individual photos will be shot during the time frame scheduled for that class/routine. Please see the recital packet for hair and makeup info.

PDC dancers: all group photos including PDC routines as well as recital routines are required per your PDC contract. PDC comp hair and makeup will be worn for all PDC photos. PDC comp makeup may be worn for recital photos, but hair will need to be changed to "recital buns" for all recital photos. If your dancer will need assistance for this hair change please plan accordingly by having someone assigned to do this.

ACCOUNT BALANCES: At this time all accounts should be up to date. The only charge remaining on any account should be your discounted June tuition. June tuition charges will be charged to the card on file June 1. Please log on to your Parent Portal to ensure that all fees are paid in full. Dancers will not be permitted to sign in or perform on show day if account is not paid in full. Thank you for your understanding.

CLOSING NUMBER: Back by request, we will have our traditional closing number as a finale to both Saturday shows. Choreography and rehearsal for the Closing Number will be held on stage at Townsend on Wednesday, June 1 5:30-8:30pm. The closing number is required for all PDC Protege, Premier, Prestige, Pre Pro JR, and Pre Pro SR dancers. Optional for all dancers enrolled in Level II - V class(es). Regardless of dancers level, at the end of the closing number, ALL dancers in the show will be brought back to the stage for their final bow. All dancers will wear their recital tee for this number. If your dancer is enrolled in a level or class younger than Level II or chooses not to participate/attend choreography on Wednesday, June 1, they will simply wear their tee over the costume they last performed in. If your dancer is participating in choreography for this finale number they will wear recital tee and solid black shorts. Recital tees will be provided to all dancers on the day of the show so you do not need to pack them prior. Black shorts will not be provided to your dancer if they are participating in choreography and will need to be packed with their costumes at home prior to arriving at the theatre. No shoes required. No extra fees to participate.

NEXT WEEK AT CAD: We are CLOSED on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. No regularly scheduled classes will be held the remainder of the week with the exception of Aerial Silks on Thursday evening. There will be no staff at CAD regularly available to answer phone calls or walk ins. If you have any questions or need assistance please email Heather at [email protected] or message us on social media.
